Practice

The 10U Panthers will have an open practice this Wednesday and
Thursday at the Panther Gym for those wishing to work on hitting and
sliding.

Next week, fields should become available to us during the week and
we'll be able to schedule a more regular practice schedule for the
girls.

Tincher Reaches 2000

Some of you girls had the opportunity to meet and work with Virginia
Tech Pitcher Angela Tincher over the last few months. This afternoon
Tincher reached a milestone only achieved by two other pitchers in
the history of NCAA Softball by striking out batter number 2,000.

ASA Spring Invitational

Congratulations to the 10U Panthers on their second place finish this past weekend. The girls played very well in their first tournament of the year and have many tournament championships to look forward to.

Bearcat Brawl

The 10U Panthers will play the Lady Wave at 9:00 on Saturday Morning.
The remainder of the schedule will be posted Wednesday Night.

ASA Tournament - Johnson City, TN (Friday Canceled)

Our game scheduled for Friday has been canceled. Our first game for
the weekend has been rescheduled for 8:00 on Saturday Morning. We ask
that the girls be at the field no later than 7:15 for warm ups.

ASA Tournament/10U Panthers - April 25th & 26th Game Times

The 10U Panthers will play on Friday (April 25th) at 9:15 p.m. We'll
meet at 8:00 to begin warming up for the game. Our second pool play
game will take place Saturday (April 26th) at 10:15 a.m. We'll meet
for warm ups at 9:00. The remainder of the game times for the weekend
will be determined by seeding based on pool play.

Wing Deer Park is located in Johnson City, TN. If you need
directions, please let me know.

Practice - April 23, 2008

Practice has been scheduled for 6:00 on Wednesday Afternoon. We will
be meeting at Belle Meadows Park in Bristol, VA. The address for the
park is 619 Wagner Road - Bristol, Virginia.

If you need a more detail set of directions, let me know and I'll get
those to you.

Also, if you haven't paid your April Player Dues please bring that
with you. The money will be needed to register the teams for the
tournament this weekend.

Panther Practice

We’ll meet at Sugar Hollow for practice on Sunday at 2:00. This practice will be instrumental in preparing our girls for the tournament next weekend. If you’re unable to attend, please contact your coach as soon as possible.

May Tournament Schedule

The updated tournament schedule for the month of May has been posted to the "schedule" section of the website. We’re also looking for a tournament for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Softball Clinic

Kerri Cobb of All American Fast Pitch has offered to host an all skills clinic this weekend at Sugar Hollow. The clinic will focus on pitching, hitting and defense. I’ve attached a registration form with additional information.

Kerri will also offer individual pitching lessons those interested in one on one instruction.

ASA Spring Fastpitch Invitational

We’ve entered our teams in the ASA Spring Fastpitch Invitational to be held April 25th – 27th at the Wing Deer Sports Complex in Johnson City, TN.

Practices the next two weeks will be crucial for preparing our teams to compete in this tournament.

Panther Practice

The tournament we had planned to enter this weekend has been canceled.  The team will practice at Sugar Hollow on Saturday at 11:00. If you are unable to attend, please let Coach McKinney know. For those playing basketball, she has been notified.
